Surron Light Bee Routine Maintenance & Bearing Service ⚡️

We recently had this Light Bee in the workshop for a targeted maintenance session, focusing on the critical bearings and drivetrain components that keep the bike rolling smooth and handling sharp.

🛠 Workshop Service Report:

• Rear Wheel Bearings Replaced: Worn wheel bearings cause lateral play in the rear wheel, which leads to poor handling, uneven brake wear, and loss of power transfer. We pressed out the old, gritty bearings and installed brand new high-quality rear wheel bearings to restore a perfectly true, frictionless roll.

• Head Stock Bearings Re-Greased: Frequent washing and muddy trails can quickly strip the grease from your steering bearings, leading to a stiff or “notchy” feeling in the handlebars. By stripping the front end and deeply re-greasing the head stock, we’ve restored that effortless, factory-smooth steering and extended the life of the bearings before a full replacement is needed.

• Drivetrain Setup (Chain Tensioned & Lubricated): Electric motors deliver 100% torque instantly, which naturally causes chains to stretch over time. We precision-adjusted the chain to the exact factory tension spec to prevent sprocket wear and slapping. Finally, we applied a premium off-road lubricant to minimize friction and keep the drivetrain whisper-quiet.
